lose ability to activate any devices until next jump

I've seen this happen under v. and also v., I think a total of 3 times now.

I have multiple activate-able devices (Energized Boost, Cloak). The cloak is currently selected in flight. I go to the Equipment screen and remove the Energized Boost and replace it (with something else activate-able?). Then when I go back to flight, there is no more HUD object showing my selected device, and hitting the R key doesn't activate anything.

The HUD object comes back after I jump to the next system.

    I had it happen again yesterday, and I found when I crafted something else activate-able (I think I made a Time Extender) to go into the missing slot, I once again had the device selector and was able to activate devices. So I guess the problem initially happens when the Boost Extender was removed or replaced with a passive device.

    Yes, thank you, we could reproduce and fix it. It happens when dismantling an active device in e.g. slot 2 while having a device equipped that is installed in a slot higher than 2.
