VR targetting gone awry

I've just bought and installed Everspace, with the intention of playing using my phone in a VR headset via RiftCat. That setup works well with other games, like Project Cars and Elite.

Unfortunately something has gone awry with the targetting in Everspace. The target indicators move around with my head, rather than sticking to the enemy ships, rocks or whatever. It makes the game unplayable. Any suggestions?

The targetting is fine in non-VR mode.

    I'm running Everspace build via Steam on Windows 10/64 version 17134.407
    Intel Core i5 2500K
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB (Gigabyte)

    we'll see what we can do, but at the moment, we only officially support Oculus Rift & HTC Vive as VR headsets. In case it's possible for you to set the output resolution in RiftCat, try setting it to the Rift's or Vive's.
