Can't start on Linux

I have the Steam version and so far have used a fully updated Manjaro Linux install and Ubuntu 20.04, both give the same problem. With the shipped libraries I just get an illegal operation right away, the game never starts. With system libraries I get the game to start and load the main menu, but any option on the main menu and sometimes randomly otherwise it just crashes. Below is the output I get when running from terminal. I had this game working for a while and it ran very well on the Manjaro install, but at some point some update happend and now it is broken.
