Requesting VR and HOTAS support on Linux

Hi!
I was excited when I heard about this game, a VR space flight game that I could play on Linux, sign me up! However, I realized today after downloading and trying to run it, that the linux version supported neither VR or HOTAS. Just to be clear, I value VR support much more than HOTAS support, and I'll only play Everspace in VR. So I guess I'll have to boot into windows and download from there for now.

    Hi, it's unlikely that we'll be investing any more time in trying to add proper VR support on Linux. I heard that it's somewhat working if you launch it with -vr and use a controller (mouse controls are broken). Same goes for HOTAS, we can't really afford to put more money into the Linux version and there won't be many more updates for Everspace in general
