First I get a bunch of weird errors about incompatible plugins.

---------------------------
Incompatible Plugin
---------------------------
'Android Media Player' plugin was designed for a different version of the engine. Attempt to load it anyway?
---------------------------
Yes No
---------------------------

It doesn't matter if I click Yes or No. After about ten or fifteen of this messages the game just crashes.

Hi, we have found the reason for the problem and are working on a solutionn

In the meantime you can fix this yourself by doing the following:

    - Locate the Folder Everspace/RSG/Content/Paks. There should only be the following files:
    • pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor
    • pakchunk1-WindowsNoEditor
    • pakchunk2-WindowsNoEditor
    • pakchunk3-WindowsNoEditor
    • pakchunk4-WindowsNoEditor
If there also is a file "RSG-WindowsNoEditor.pak", delete it! The GOG client update deletes it correctly, but manual updates leave this old file there which is the old game content and also too big in size for Unreal Engine 4.16 to handle in Win32. The state of the game when starting with this file present is "undefined" and "unstable"

    - If you are on a 64 bit system you should start the RSG-Win64-Shipping.exe located at Everspace/RSG/Binaries/Win64 instead of the Everspace.exe in the Everspace folder

    Hope that helps!
