Cockpit elements could be consistent with current weapon/consumable/hull...

I noticed that changing weapons or taking shield damage isn't reflected on the displays that compose the cockpit. Is it intended to stay this way or will we have a cockpit that shows the current weapon, consumable, shield damage, ... ?
By making the displays dynamic, you could remove some of the hud elements when playing with the cockpit view on.

    While the placeholder cockpit looks great, adding functionality to the display would be amazing.

    Here's to hoping you can find the time so we can test it out during Beta.

    I spend all my time in first person view and my eyes never really focus on the panels unless i'm waiting for jump to charge. That being said; it was the very first thing i noticed when i started: it looks blurry and unresponsive.
    Will be interested to see if it gets treatment but as mentioned; i'm looking else where most of the time.
