Exclusive mods for each weapon/ equipment

For example lower initiate time, higher charge speed, increase 50%+ charge damage but lower 50% - damage for rifle and scatter gun, sniper mode for rifle, higher explosion radius for flak cannon, auto seek for thermo gun, wider angle for laser lock-on and focus damage, less initiate time for shield dx, higher range and distance/ ramming enhancement for front shield, slower time for time extender, higher range for energy dispel, not being found stealing during cloak, stealing with tractor beam after stasis missile.

    Indeed, I'd like to see some types of Mods as well.

    Synergetic Mods would be a cool addition. For instance, if a player has Cloaking and a certain type of Missile, one of the Missile upgrades could be to infuse the Cloaking as a mod. Effect? Invisible missiles that can't be shot down by point-defense.

    I'm sure there are a TON of unique ways that various weapons/devices could synergize. Seeing these combos would incentivize certain playstyles and create even more customization in the game.

    Scatter gun/ Shock Rifle: Faster charge/ Lower damage when below 50 (experiential would be great with 50% being at 0) but higher when above
    Gatling: Lower initiate time
    Shock Rifle(mk.2): Sniper mode (lower other sensor but increased range and clearer view)
    Laser: Wider range lock-on and increase damage with time on single target
    Flak Cannon: Straighter projectile/ Higher blast randius
    Fusion Blaster: Overheat opponent/ Mark ships even if cloaked
    Thermo Gun: Auto seek other targets when primary is out of range or destoryed/ Auto destruct when hitting anti-missile droids/ Increased chase distance
    Cloak: Completely hide presence after cloak so know one knows what you are stealing/ attacking friendly ship
    Front Shield: Bigger/ farther front to avoid explosion/ Negate ramming damage
    Energy Discharger: Higher range/ focus on front to create drill like effect, negate ramming damage from the front (great for breaking gunship)
    Mainframe Override: Access to ship resources/ Increase hack range and speed/ Free service from service ship
    Phase Mod: Lower hull damage and increase energy output but ignore shield
    Auto aim mod: Lower damage, increase output but automatically aim target if in sight
